Location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions. The elevators were slow and made waits too long. The rooftop bar has amazing views, but I had to wait forever for a drink.

Location is perfect. Close to Times Square and easy access to walking tours. Elevators took forever, and rooms were quite small. Loved the rooftop bar for evening entertainment. Staff was friendly, but the check-in process was chaotic.

The room was comfy and clean with a nice vibe for unwinding at the end of the day, daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and tidy, the casino was fun and full of life and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was prime, just a short walk to all the cool spots and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and energy.
It wasn’t exactly affordable but given the perks it was still reasonable.

Great location on 40th Street, close to major attractions. Room and bathrooms were clean, but the average size had limitations. Some amenities, like towels, were lacking upon arrival. Professional and friendly staff, although early check-in came with unexpected fees. Elevator access was a real issue, often leading us to choose stairs instead. Lobby can be chaotic with crowds, especially at peak times. A refillable water station was a nice touch. Ultimately, this experience left mixed feelings—convenient, but with plenty of room for improvement. Prioritize clarity in communication moving forward for a better stay.

Comfortable beds, comfortable stay with a clean, modern room that had a nice view and convenient access to local attractions just a few blocks from the hotel.
Zero issues.

Helpful staff, especially Alex and the bellmen, made the busy atmosphere feel manageable. The room was tidy with great linens, but the elevator situation was a nightmare—expect 15-20 minutes of wait time. Location is convenient, right by the subway, but feels unsafe at night with vagrants around. Check-in was chaotic; they tried to move us to another hotel after we’d arrived. Heat issues in our room made sleeping uncomfortable, and amenities varied widely between rooms. Great for quick access to transit, but don’t count on a peaceful stay or consistent service.

Doubletree By Hilton New York Times Square West boasts a fantastic location, making it easy to explore key attractions in the city. The rooms are clean, and most importantly, I found my stay surprisingly quiet, despite being near the elevators. A solid choice for budget travelers.

The room was nice and clean, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep when it wasn't interrupted by noise. the air conditioning was overly strong, making it difficult to find a comfortable temperature. There was considerable noise from the ice machine nearby, disrupting our rest, prompting a room change. The elevators were slow, often crowded, making access to our room frustrating. Despite these issues, the rooftop bar offered fantastic views, and the proximity to food options was ideal.

The hotel is just a short walk from Times Square, and I found plenty of great food and drink options on 8th and 9th Avenues, making it easy to grab a bite after a long day of sightseeing, plus key landmarks like the Museum of Modern Art and Rockefeller Center are within a 20-minute stroll for those who love walking as much as I do; the comfortable bed and clean bathroom were nice, but the elevator wait times could get pretty long during busy hours.

Room was a bit tight for 4, but the view from the 30th floor was killer. Loved the warm cookie welcome! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Getting around was easy with subway close by. Wifi was spotty at peak times, and we had some service hiccups with towels and cups for four instead of two.

Great location and 24-hour reception. Rooms need better maintenance and elevators take too long.

I loved that the hotel was perfectly located, just a hop away from Times Square and the Hudson. The staff greeted me with free cookies and warm smiles, making me feel right at home! Plus, the nightlife and entertainment options were off the charts – I never ran out of fun things to do!
Can't recommend highly enough! 💖🎉

I arrived late after informing the hotel, only to find no room available. After over an hour of waiting, I was relocated to a lesser hotel. It felt frustrating—waiting past midnight instead of relaxing in my room!

The city view from my room takes the cake! The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff is friendly.
The room is smaller than I'd hoped.

Had a blast during xmas holidays at this spot - close to Madison Square Garden and Summit One, superb for exploring the area by foot, and easy access to subway and bus stops. The rooms were cozy and quiet, with well-equipped facilities and comfy beds for a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay much better than expected. And, they had a cool fountain in the lobby to refill your water bottle!
The rooms were a tad small, and some areas seemed a bit worn out. Also, the shower setup could be improved with handles and removable showerheads.

Enjoyed live music with city views at the rooftop bar, even if it wasn't Hilton's. Near Times Square attractions. Carlos and Jaden from the bell staff were lovely! Late check-out option was convenient.
Loved waking up to cleaners hammering at 7:30 am. So thoughtful of them.

The location was perfect for exploring nearby eateries in Hells Kitchen and enjoying the city views from the 34th floor. The air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver on hot days.
The room was not as advertised, with broken amenities and a gloomy ambiance. The staff was unresponsive, failing to address basic requests and providing little information during check-in.

I appreciated the location's proximity to Times Square and other tourist spots. The hotel staff, particularly Carlos, was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, providing valuable tips for navigating the city. On the downside, I found the room size to be inadequate for the bed provided. The lack of efficient storage space made it challenging to unpack and organize belongings. The elevator wait times were frustrating, often lasting 10 to 20 minutes, adding unnecessary delays to my day. The cleanliness of the hotel fell short of expectations, with noticeable dust around the room's edges and details missed during cleaning. Communication barriers with the housekeeping staff, who struggled to understand English, made simple requests for towels or room cleaning a cumbersome process. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's amenities like ironing facilities, air conditioning, and flat-screen TV were satisfactory.

We experienced long waits for the elevator, and the room was small and noisy. However, the convenient location near Times Square was a plus. I'll recommend this hotel.

staying at the doubletree by hilton was a fantastic experience. the location was unbeatable, within walking distance to major attractions and close to the metro. our room was clean, fairly quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we even received a hot tip to request a microwave or fridge if not already in our room. upgrading to the city view was definitely worth it, and the hardworking bellman was exceptionally accommodating and deserving of a raise. overall, a great value for the location and price.
Almost perfect 😉

My friends and I had an amazing time during our visit to NYC! The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable, and centrally located near Times Square. The staff, especially Carlos at the front desk, were helpful and kind. We loved the free drinks in the lobby and the option to refill our water bottles. The view of the city from our room was absolutely stunning!
The room lighting was insufficient, and we had to use our mobile phones to find our belongings at night. The shower had no sealant, leading to water splashing out and making a mess.
